Rainbow Newsletter

This page had a theme of halloween so the illustration were aimed around that theme

The information was the key feature in this design so the style had to fit around this. As the design was consistant it was easy to distinguish which information was most important.

My character development is a small feature that i used to give a more friendly approach as it was characters that you could relate to.

The magazine was for rainbows children society, so my instinct was to use rainbow colours as they are bright and also work as a colour coordination through the newsletter.

Each page has distinct features and illustration that are relevant to the story so even though the design is similiar the character is very individual.

As this is for a childrens hospice i have tried to keep the design light and fun as the message is very positive and looking at the good things in life.

The content page is the key part of how the newsletter links together simply by using a colour coding system.
